And it's goodnight from him ...

Sorry for delay, Christmas & Edwina's tax return came first!

12 things you should know about the Christmas Hash 2019

1. First visit to a multi-storey car park for those fabulous(!) 'Up on the roof' views, and freshly scented air.

2. Close to Bedford prison we crossed Bromham Road as responsible pedestrians! Although Forking DC did go past the crossing, but soon came back.

3. Through the pedestrian area where Rapid Recall [awh bless em its withdrawal to you ... ed] found all the number checks in spite of the sun in our eyes.

4. Over the posh new bridge to St Mary's gardens. FRBs Rapid, Count Roadkill and Cpt. F checking out the false trail.

5. Wet feet for Count RK and Blow Felt for ducking under the town bridge while everyone else opted for the 'dry' route.

6. Misdirected marshalling from a rival hash confused some (they did seem to run a bit faster than us, they must have been really keen to get to the pub).

7. Plenty more bridges plus an extra bridge loop for the FRBs.

8. A short climb to a held check at the top of Castle Mound. Congrats to Claptrap for being first to the top, and Cap'n F for being the last. A short stop to admire the view and get our breath back.

9. A quick stop at the HQ of "The Pannacetta Society" well known locally for their delicious bread.

10. Brief visit to the 61 sq. acres of Bedford Park.

11. Homage paid to Ronnie Barker (birthplace 70 Garfield Street, typical joke below)

12. The Wellington Arms pub enjoyed by all & the Real Ale drinkers in particular.

Circle up for down-downs too numerous to recall and a plea from Bangers to please bring our tankards in future!!!

ON ON to The Musgrave Arms

Cyclopath & Edwina 123

Meanwhile the search for the man who terrorises nudist camps with a bacon slicer goes on. Inspector Jones had a tip-off this morning, but hopes to be back on duty tomorrow. And it's goodnight from him ....
