Has The Count got the matches again?

The search for missing hashers continued late into the night

The Hares are exempt from providing Wurdz this week. They put in a superb effort to make the Hash welcome – providing food, drink, fireworks, bonfire, relatively good weather, as well as a trail incorporating a nature reserve and beer stop at a fine pub*. It would be churlish to ask any more of them.

They were rewarded with a Hash of excellent quality – how else could you describe Double Entry, Cyclopath, Rapid Withdrawal and Count Roadkill, with Lost Cause apres? – but much lower in terms of volume than they had hoped or indeed catered for. What a shame. Perhaps the start time of 3pm, which apparently fooled a Cambridge visitor, or opinions on mutt-related firework issues, or even a rumour that some fireworks are projected towards guests at this venue, may have had an effect. Who knows?

But many thanks Edwina 123 and Major Jon for being super Hares and Hosts. The Few appreciated what The Many missed.

*The Wellington Arms, where everyone knows your name, or so Edwina assured us, served good beer, had a good vibe and will be the Venue for a future run if Cyclopath has her way.
