At around half past ten on Sunday morning I was joined by Ringer in the car park of the Dukes where we enjoyed the spectacle of hashers appearing and trying to park. This is like watching a ballet; first three cars pull in and try to park without touching each other, one (Double Entry) decides that parking on the other side of the carpark would be safer and then got joined by the spritely Forking and Leeroy with his parking sensor 1.0 (i.e. keep going back until you hit something). What a safe place to park Double Entry picked.

Anyway once the hash had circled up the hare was invited into the circle and asked why there was no co-hare they were informed that Leveret had decided to attend a take a teddy to junior park run run to which he had taken his Ditto [cum again? :Dep Ed] which as the circle found out is a type of pokemon this was explained in some depth to the younger members of the hash who wouldn't remember such things.

On out and Forking took an early lead showing his running skills and great eye sight in finding the first number check. There were plenty to go round because the hare had put enough out for all to share. Soon the Count, Rapid, Minja Turtle and even the late Nik Nak were following suit.

A little further on and Forking and Minja Turtle were seen playing in the park together on a zip wire. I can only guess as to what happened here but back at the Dukes Forking was trying to put his tooth back in (don't mess with the Minja). Up by the British legion and the hare told Rapid and Leeroy not to go in the woods. Clearly they were either just good friends of I don't know but into the woods they went (it takes all sorts). On back and down the hill we find Blow Felt helping himself to peoples gardens just because a box says eat me doesn't mean you should (maybe Blow Felt has been reading Alice in Wonderland and was hoping for a little growth).

Through the village and the F.R.B.'s ran up a little hill without noticing the hare hovering to send the walkers on a little short cut. Well I like to think if you can get the F.R.B.'s to run up the hill why not send them straight back down it again. That's twice I've done that to them now; I won't be doing that again (or will I).

Back at the Dukes Leeroy left early and more late comers arrived. Down downs were awarded for lateness (Hot Shot might get one for these wurdz), eating on the trail and doing number checks. What a strict R.A. we have.

On on till next time.
