Well, 1482 started in controversy even before we started!

Despite my valiant attempts to alert the good people of the 'Wade to the not so sinister goings on about to take place by those evil or not so evil hashers, it all kicked off!

Notices describe me as 'a man in running gear' and informing people that I had been reported to Police, were posted around the town, so I thought I had better do a quick run round to alleviate any concerns. This proved to be a mistake, as I managed to pull my calf and had to hobble round the Hash chasing the FRBs.

The Yorkshire Grey was very welcoming to the potential felons and Chief Inspector Knobber soon called the circle. I had hoped to be assisted by Arch Criminal BlowFelt, to act as Back Hare, but he'd left his glasses at home! An extremely helpful Double Entry decided to pick up the super villain mantle that was until she found out about the potential hazard of disgruntled residents!

Two newbies (Forgotten his name and Sue) wondered what they had let themselves in for, after being recommended to attend by Penetrator and Ring Kisser.

The On Out saw pretty much everyone on the right track, apart from serious Crime Fighter Minja Turtle, obviously being on the right side of the law is a detriment to hashing.

Pecker led a large group off the wrong way whilst Rapid, Capt F and Subby tried to raid the local Middle School. Regular numbers kept the pack together until we got to the local Lower School where Capt F and Subby again tried to force entry!

Out of the town to the local Leisure Center, where Atomic FRB'd to where all viewed the offending posters, warning dog walkers to look out for a powder dropping DC.

Lady P decided not to be out done or to hang around waiting for annoyed locals, and FRB'd all the way to the next check. A slight detour through the new plantation saw Knotch finding the first Falsie, whilst Pecker led the rest to the next number. A regroup saw a Z cars based short cut due to a confused Hare where the FRBs went off looking for badgers and the knitting circle just got badgered!

Regrouped and then back to sample part of the Biggleswade Green wheel, which is used by aforementioned dog walkers as could be seen by the large amount of dog toffees left strewn along said path.

Back to the Grey, where Down Downs were awarded to particularly well behaved Newbies. Not awarded to a quickly departed Birthday Girl Goneril. A cock snatching Minja. The Plunger of Love to a rain inducing RA Rapid. Finally to a shortly to be banged up Hare.

ON ON to Strangeways or Broadmoor, if not then see you at Peckers 1483 from the Wilbury Stonehouse (formerly the Gardeners Arms, formerly the Wilbury, Also known as The Worlds End)
