Well what a nice uneventful run I had with my bottle of tart. The hare yours truly set off 15 mins early setting the trail as I went along through some of the posher areas of Leighton Buzzard.

On route lots of number checks were added to give the live hare a sporting chance and in a very sporting manner they were also ignored by two F.R.B.'s who were also R.A.'s, just in case this happened I put in some named checks as well however these were ignored as well which didn't help.

The route took the hash from the star round the back of the pub and out around 100yrds further up the road from here the hare nervously ran down heath road in full view of the pub and hash. A very worried hare crossed the road and did a loop though the park and back onto Heath road again showing no fear, our brave or foolish hare ran up the road in what should have been full view of the hash.

Down a very steep hill and in to the countryside and along the side of a pretty stream this led round and crossed the path the hash were about to take they missed me again so on I ran to Plantation road crossing about 50yrds from where I thought the hash might be and I left a note ( Monkeys this way ) this was in reference to the monkey puzzle trees ahead ( the only ones puzzled on this route were behind me ). I carried on past some bluebells and onto the Star which was still closed.

15 mins later I was joined by Rapid who I believe would have got there sooner if he hadn't stopped to read all the numbers.

on on till next time from the still not caught Hot Shot

And next time catch Forking and Cyclopath on Bank Holiday Monday, 4pm The Crown Flitwick
