Well Hash 1465 certainly blew away a few cobwebs, along with most of the flour laid and quite a few hashers too!

A new pub for H5 and for Biggleswade as we r*n from the King's Reach on the strangely similar named King's Reach estate.

The on out didn't seem to confuse too many, but did see Gorjoyce FRB'ing for a while as Pecker led a small group for quite a while before short cutting to join the rest of the pack. Not to be outdone, Lady P took over FRB duties for a while too.

Out across a rarely used part of Biggleswade Common we came across the first of the numbers, which had not been blown or washed away. FRB duties now taken up by Atomic and Princess Theakstons, before being handed back to the usual suspects. One of which was our esteemed RA who found a bridge he had commissioned and as a Troll therefore decided, a Toll was due. Three Billy Goats Gruff of Knobber, Capt F and Pecker ran off to find more numbers and false trails out towards Sunderland Farm. The RA not to be outdone found the majority of false trails and for some reasons Double Entry seemed keen to follow him!

Luckily, a re-laid trail and some underwater markings kept the pack reasonably together for most of the trail. However, with low temperatures and high winds the plod back to the pub was quite trying!

Thanks to Blow Felt for making sure everyone at the back knew where to go, even if he couldn't see the map without his glasses.

A nice warm pub had obviously had a profound effect on the HM as he gave circle exemptions to some. The rest of us managed to find a little shelter from the wind for a somewhat chilly circle.

Down Downs for:

A not too cold Hare.

Birthday Boy Lost Cause - who provided a very nice cake that tasted much better than it looked.

Underlay for informing the hash that she had a damp pussy three times the night before!

Bangers for his Dog training abilities, somewhat unfairly as it was the RA that had Millie chasing squirrels in water.

Bell End Too for fashion crimes against humanity (at least GoodHead had matching colours).

Gonereal for not knowing which name to use.

Golden Globes for new car parking - a bit like new shoes but not so muddy.

Capt F for bad jokes which we didn't think could get any worse.

Knobber - for head coverings or something along those lines.

On On to Hash 1466, brought to you by Blow Felt and Edwina at The Stewartby Club which is behind the Village Shop and not in the Village Hall.
