A great turn out with several returnees G-string and his girls, Spotted Dick and Custard, several mutts and a load of HASHers. The new landlords at the Musgrave were happy to accommodate us and we managed to fill both the car park and the bar after the run.

Wurdz for 1450 will try follow impressive the new trend of animation, but not the sagas. Going to Sweden to brush up on the Nordic sagas!

Clap Trap and Catch it praised the good RA as we woke up to sunshine Sunday morning sunshine face, which sadly soon reverted to drizzle at 11 am precisely rain on umbrella. Misgivings about the RA's powers were by now aired.

On on down the winding road towards Pegston and we finally turned onto the Bridlepath horse and the start of shiggies. The new landowners of the Hexton estate's land have somehow managed to remove the Bridlepath signs which have been in place for over 50 years. More footpath posts were sadly found, lying down along the route. The HASH'ers are on the case!

Shiggying along, with a few runbacks and health checks, we stopped to admire the Pine Tree phone mast! 'Disguised' amongst the bare deciduous trees conifer tree tree, palm treeno palm trees! This was the queue for Clap Trap to retrieve the well hidden bag containing mulled wine, hot black currants juice and a few nibbles glass of wine A welcome check. The drizzle continued, as we meandered along grassy paths, muddy fields and finally to the On Inn sign. GorJoyce was nearly left behind, as she had a good chat with some rather large Hereford cattle. The curly forehead of the beast reminded her of her grandson bull. Specsavers or Vision Express visit?

Back at the Musgrave Arms the ankle biters swiftly got the cakes and star biscuits into the pub before Count got his mitts on them. Greeted by two locals, we enjoyed a chat and refreshments in the bar round the well worn Dominoes table.

Faith in the RA restored – the sun came out sunglasses face and we circled up and had a few down downs. Knobber had a few things to say, Rapid ended up on his knees, Blowers managed to get his horn filled, Subby, Spotted Dick and Custard were given down downs. The Hares enjoyed a toast and ON ON to the The Cock, Broom for run 1451
