Well what can I say except ahhhh. A little Leveret was very tired after helping the hash around the trail: daddy (HotShot) had to go and have a little sleep and I feel sure he wasn't the only one.
Clues were given out in the circle that Leroy would call this a short run, our newly named Leveret wasn't a hare because he couldn't do this distance 2 days in a row but still no one showed any sign of worry.
Out the hash went on to the trail and all in the wrong direction except for Forking who clearly had a nose for the trail we were heading for a pig farm and there was a bit of a niff. The first fish hook was found by Captain F and then the second and then the third at this point Leveret stepped in and took one for the team. Captain F remarked that there were far to many number ones on the route to which the hare explained that no hasher wants a number two on a trail, it was around this point that Captain F found a number two and the hare laughed.
At this point Clap Trap became an F.R.B. and promptly ran to the back.
Our next challenge was a rather steep slope which even Count Roadkill managed with his bad back.
On they went and Forking got excited at the sight of a pub and then let slip a lack of funds so ran on. At this point they were half way with the time being 10 to 12. A worried hare looked at his watch, we carried on past houses named after many witches and then down hill to the Red Lion.
Once in the Pub Leveret took a stall at the bar and our R.A. Forking asked if anyone felt that they should award themselves a down-down a new way of doing things me thinks.
In the circle Leveret was named and then awarded Lady P with a down down. Another drink was awarded to Blow Felt which meant that Forking missed out. How did that happen?
ON ON to Shillington
