So this is the hash where Golden Globes finally earned her Hare Shirt! We gathered at the Visitor Centre of Lovcen National Park after a Coffee Stop in Cetinje and a visit to Njegos' Mausoleum – he's a sort of Montenegran Shakespeare. All a bit chaotic and we kept losing each other, so a bit like a Hash before we started.
Talking of shirts it was very impressive that every Hasher – as in the lot, all of 'em – wore their Pink Tour Shirts for the Hash, and everyone on the trip – with the sole exception of Mrs Bangers – followed the trail.
In absence of the late arrival of Nik Nak we had Knobber blaming his late sandwich which gained him a down down for sandwiches in the circle!
As the Hares had not set foot on the trail before, we "Live Hared" so the front hare shot off like s ... a Hare chased by hounds! [difficult to believe this ... scribe].
Later we found that the trail took us down a road travelled two days earlier by Clap Trap, Catch It, and The Bangers when they were lost [even more difficult to believe this ... scribe].
In the esteemed presence of Pongo he was able to confirm that this was the most picturesque hash that he has ever been on in this country.
There was a false trail or two but the Back Hare refused to tell the Pack the correct trail, and it seems likely that the fact she hadn't a clue was not the only reason.
For reasons too numerous to mention, but mainly so the drivers could have a beer, the circle was convened back at the ranch, the universally approved Palma Gora Villas high above Tivat, later that evening.
The RA, who was on good form throughout the week, was soon lining up Rapid, Knobber, Lady P, Globes, Pussies, Bracket, Hairy and Bangers, and all were found guilty as charged of crimes too numerous to remember. Blow Felt also accepted the charge of failing to use Bracket's Hash Name, thus giving the RA the unexpected opportunity to drink with everyone else.
The RA also anointed the lady previously known as Fi who will henceforth be the Hasher Knee Trembler. Apparently the knees were trembling after the Kotor Wall Walk, but further detail is unavailable.
