BlowFelt never drinks alone

It was a balmy evening in Sharnbrook for the 1430 run, the roadworks and road blocks didn't deter Hashers from the South.

A challenge was set to find the "hidden" timepiece that Edwina had secreted the day before. A prize was the incentive.

The run led us through beautiful countryside, taking in lakes, crops and various farm animals. We crossed several bridges, we paused a while at one said bridge to play "Pooh" sticks – this was a new experience for Pythagorarse.

We learnt that Depth Charge, in his youth, had spent many happy hours canoodling (or was it canoeing?) on the waters of Sharnbrook.

We all escaped unscathed from the farmers shotgun before going over the stiles towards The Mill and its theatre.

Back at The Fordham Arms to see Blowfelt, in good tradition, award himself a down down and various others for different misdemeanours. Edwina 1-2-3 was awarded a rather splendid sports bag for his 149th run (a complete surprise).

Captain F was nursing a sore tooth but found solace with cake.

Sadly no one found the "hidden" watch so the rather splendid prize was unclaimed.

On on to run 1431 where Depth Charge, unassisted, will be the esteemed hare.
