A Cliffhanger of a Hash...[Dep Ed]

In the recent Birthday Honours list the Hashit was awarded the royal warrant should the Prince of Wales ever join the hash.

With their continued absence the Count and Lady Pee are still away on Summer Holiday.

Bangers wasn't there either as he has to Move It to his new abode.

Seventeen years ago Forking was still a Bachelor Boy, but today was a case of Congratulations on reaching 17 years being married.

Captain Fantaaastic brought his music box so was exactly Wired For Sound.

Rapid Withdrawal came but without Golden Globes. Not a case of 'We Dont Talk Anymore', just that she might have been playing tennis [or possibly carpet bowls]. Shuffle and Frau had stayed at home with their Young Ones.

The hash set off from the pub and made it through the woodland. Nik-Nak spotted some Mistletoe and Whined as the climb led upwards to the disused pit [can you go upwards to a pit? Dep Ed].

In the 50s and 60s the bare white lunar landscape of the old quarry doubled up as the moon's surface in a number of TV shows and films. Before the lunar landing, this would have passed as a pretty good interpretation of what the moon might look like. Amongst the A-listed film stars cast as human astronauts were Peter Cushing, Bernard Cribbins, John Pertwee and Patrick Troughton. Despite Dr Who facing Cybermen, Cyborgs and the Cyclops, it couldn't have prepared Kenneth Moore for meeting our own Cyclopath. His film credits include the comedy 'Man in the Moon' (1961). The director released the film, but on the final cut it was noticed that there was a distant faint black column of smoke. This came from another car being set on fire by the local youths. However, the error in the film led to the likelihood of there being some possible volcanic activity on the moon. It actually ramped up the space race to get Armstrong and Aldrin up there, just to check in the craters for any smoking geysers [or geezers].

Blowfelt put his Lucky Lips around his weekly self-awarded down-down.

As the evening wore on The Shadows appeared, we all felt a bit Hank Marvin1 and were glad that hash cakes were provided [sadly not, but this is what happens when you write the Words in advance: Dep Ed].
