Run 1195

Sunday 2 March 2014

The Gardeners Arms, Letchworth

Hares: Pecker and Twiglet

HASHERS: 23  ANKLE BITERS: 7  MUTTS: 3  APRES: 1

The HM told us what happened on this day ..

.. welcomed a Newbee ..

.. and took on shiggy in the Hashit. All in a day's work.

Oh wicked, wicked Hares!!! As if your Scribes don't have enough to do after the run: developing those heavy, glass photographic plates, snipping away with scissors and a pot of Gloy to produce a shiny new page ready to drop the Hares' Words into, hours spent toiling away in the hot, dank atmosphere of the H5 data mines looking for gems to publish on the website etc etc. All the Scribes ask of you is the simple task of throwing some sentences into an email describing the run from the hares' perspective. But no, this week we got zilch, niet, diddly-squat.

Consequently Hares, you will be required to attend corrective classes with Miss Submissive, who will chastise you in the most strict manner about the error of your ways. But before that, you will write out in your best copperplate hand 100 lines 'I must remember to write my Words on time' and take them with you to her class.
[The Scribes]

I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
I must remember to write my Words on time
