PP looked lovely and their first date had been wonderful. He'd worn his best tie and Tommy Cooper hat, and even though he couldn't get a signal on his wooden iPad he was having such a super time.

FRIDAY 22 JUNE - A DAY AT THE RACES .....
.... organisation to the nth degree, as ever with Double Entry, bore fruit in a fantastic evening at Newmarket Races, despite the wet and wind, before the incomparable Madness took to the stage in front of Capt Fantaaaaastic, complete with fez, Knobber, looking and dressing the image of the bass player, and a whole host of snappily clad and well satisfied Hfivers.
Good wins for the RA (who did not deserve his luck in view of the weather) and Lady P (collecting her winnings left) but inappropriately Laura's Bairn was beaten in the final race.
