The Plume of Feathers, Ickleford

Hares: Triple Screw & PP

HASHERS: 12  ANKLE BITERS: 0  MUTTS: 1  APRES: 4

CONGRATULATIONS to Nik-Nak on completing her maiden marathon in the wind and rain at Milton Keynes in a very creditable 6hrs 12mins.

It was a dark and stormy night, the wind howled in the trees and the rain fell in torrents across the sodden ground. Daytime was much the same. The hares got very wet. The pack got very wet. Short trail, lots of numbers to keep everyone moving and a warm welcome (including sausages and chips) from the pub when we got back.

Lots of cake was provided by Frau in support of Nik-Nak's marathon effort in aid of Keech hospice. This is in addition to £100 from the charity cake fund raised over the last few months, which is being donated to the Ichtheosys Support Group. The H5 cake bakers continue to demonstrate the benefits that cake can bring to the world!!
