Hares: Private Parts & Count Roadkill

HASHERS: 15  APRES: 1  MUTTS: 1

HARES, ENTHUSE ...

MADGE, LOVED IT ...

FORKING, CLEAR ROUND ...

SCOOBY, WENT FOR IT ...

DAVE, OUT IN FRONT

Perhaps it was the outrageously poor summer weather, or the dark evening, or the South Easterly location, but this run did not get the quantity of hashers it deserved But Quality? There ...???...

The hares - it's clear from the opening circle snap - were full of enthusiasm for what they tried to sell to the harriets as a long, hard one. As they warned of roads and horses, Madge could have panicked but she was disciplined throughout and loved it. And the others stuck to their task well, braving some strenuous straights at a commendable pace, obeying the numbered checks ...???... well earned short cut when appropriate. The Hares were pleased with the Hash.

But when it came to a Harriets Check in the woods at Mardley Heath, it was Lady Pee who led the pack by a country mile. Slowed down only by the need to scream as Scoobedobedobedo and PP caught and attacked her with projectile shiggy There wasn't ...???... brown muddy stuff around but this pair found the lot and went for it.

On to Potters Heath and all sorts of fun for the Hash as the route lead through an equestrian centre and a chance to show off their jumping skills. After a faultless round the pack was back ...???... Rableyheath with a final chance at a short-cut: refusals all round.

Secret RA Pongo was quick to award down-downs to Flo, Scoobedobedobedo (who also scooped the Hashit on his 40th birthday) and Forking Dick Chair. Lady Pee provided a feast ...???...
