The RA performed his duties well and delivered a bright and breezy winter's morn for Run 802 of the Hare & Hounds H3. The pub proved difficult to find for some, but our numbers were swollen by three visitors from MKH3. The pub was firmly shut so LADY P had to pop behind the handily placed shed in the car park to peepare for the run.

No GM or HM for the circle so it's left to SCREAMER to call the circle to order and discover there are no birthdays or anniversaries and so it's over to the hares, who after the usual warnings set the hash on their way.

AIRSCREW takes the front and almost has an altercation with a car. ASBO takes on FRB duties and is heard to ask SHAGPILE "What does a circle mean?" SHAGPILE educates him that it's a check and then precedes to do the 'I see no ships pose' (hoping it will hide the fact that he is check hovering). 5 BAAH takes up the front and leads the pack pst the White Hart. By this time two of the late-comers (CAPT HADDOCK and PRIVATE PARTS [sorry PP....Ed]) have joined the hash. SHAGGY takes over at the front and leads the pack on a monster bar check.

CAPT FANTAASTIC leads the pack to the next check where FKA DUCK picks the false trail. C4SKIN guesses wrong at the next check and as the pack head to a held check they are joined by GORJOYCE, who claims not to have gone to the wrong pub, just got up late.

On up past the church and time for NIK NAK, CAUTION CONTAINER, FLO and PUSSIES GALORE to take a short cut. Then it's out into the fields and onto a number check where OVERFLO [or whatever his name is this week? ...Ed] exercises a tactical slowing down manoeuvre causing ASBO to be the last person to go to the back.

Quick loop and bar and then we were ON INN in 55 minutes.

The circle saw down downs for the hares, AIRSCREW (for car collision), SCREAMER and GORJOYCE (for confusion). GORJOYCE again (for nice-smelling Italians??). 10 runs for Amy and 100 run for OVERFLO [according to the shirt? ...Ed]
