For the last Sunday in October, the weather was glorious. Everyone had remembered to turn the clocks back and after a quick brief of the run we were off out the pub towards the common.

Getting on the right trail, MEKON came up the rear having found a hole in the ground and going over on her ankle but this did not deter her from carrying on.

After a tour of the Fairfield Estate, it was back onto the common to a held check. It was here that MUNCHKIN decided on a quick short cut and SMIFFO got "caught short", this was followed by the first four hashers, SCOOPER, RINGER, KNOBBER and MY LITTLE PONY taking themselves back to the last hashers, BOF, MATADOR and AIRCON. Not happy with being left out, CAPTAIN FANTAAAASTIC joined in 'to get fit'!!!

It was noted that approaching the railway line, CAPTAIN FANTAAAASTIC'S better half, TARZAN was the front runner. After a held check to cross the railway line, and everyone on a false trail, it was back onto the common and making their way back to the last check where the FRBs were like sheep following each other and missing 2 falsies.

DOWNS DOWNS went to LOZENGE and WIGGLEY for committing a "tude" (it appeared that only KNOBBER understood the offence), CAPTAIN FANTAAAASTIC for miscounting and STALLION (another tude) and CAUTION CONTAINER (Puppy award).
