What a wonderful day!! the sun was shining the birds were singing hasher were happy. UNTIL, we found there was very little dust left after the late evening downpour, oh dear what a tragedy!! But we hashed on,on never to be thwarted, us brave hearts.

Donut was a little perturbed, when he saw a footpath sign pointing diagonally across a field with a newly sprouting crop in evidence and even more disturbed when there was no ON INN to be seen, then to top it all, a bar, sending everyone back on themselves. Oh dear never mind. Smiffo was the usual sturdy stalwart who ran all the falsies, thank the Lord as most of them were missed, being invisible that is. As a front running hare I had very little chance of keeping up with those long, striding legs of his, but that's why we must make the falsies longer for this intrepid hasher.

The dogs had, as my dearest friend Lady P. would say, had a FAB time, running hither and thither through the puddles and mud, and met some lovely new doggy friends belonging to a rather yummy lady out jogging in the sunshine. Pity no one was able to get her to join in with us, oh dear lads losing you grip!!

There were the usual down downs and banter and I didn't nip off, good girl!! A gorgeous dog was named Fungus, rotten lot and a some what befuddled, award presentation to Lady Penelope for 50 runs, well done that lady.

A big thank you to my co hare and all your appreciation of my efforts.

That's your lot, Gorjoyce
