Thankfully a dry night for the run at 'The Three Tuns', which was somewhat different to when the run was laid on the Sunday when said hare got soaking wet. Most of the trail survived but did need some relaying on the Monday.

The pack set off at 7.30pm after saying goodbye to Cockpit, Fokker and Lauren (8 weeks old). The trail led over the foot bridge and into the fields. The route quickly found by the RA led the pack up the hill towards Charlton. A '5' check awaited the front runners much to their disgust.

The pack then split, Donut and his posse took a short cut and the rest of the pack headed out towards Wellhead. Another '5' check awaited the front runners and with little enthusiasm they plodded back towards the rear of the pack.

On again towards Gosmore, but after a bar check it was back towards Hitchin Hill, to meet up with the rest of the pack. With the pack regrouped it was on towards Oakfield but sensing the time was against us, part of the pre-laid run was sliced out and a new trail was laid. The pack's enthusiasm to get back was delayed by a ladies check; but with the correct route found it was on on towards the Cemetery.

With the pack stretched out but with plenty of arrows to lead the way, the front runners found the 'On Inn' and with a steep climb up the hill to the pub, the pack arrived back within the hour.

Down downs were awarded to, the hare - Airscrew, G-String for - a Racism Quote "Look at those two black bitches" (Ok, he was pointing at a couple of hounds but there you go) but he'd gone so someone else copped it, Hinge for Prancing around, Bracket for being lazy and getting a lift off Count Roadkill. Bell End for saying "I suppose you've left No Knickers on her knees at home?" Count Roadkill for coming as an umpire for a cricket match and Deadmeat for the hell of it. Our esteemed leader Ringer awarded a down down to Big Blouse for foolishly challenging Capt'n Fantaaastic to a sprint and losing heavily..........
