Sunday, and the hares were late, having had a bit more of a lie in than they intended. Most of the hash had already got there and were waiting in the circle. Into the recreation ground opposite, the pack found falsies and returned to the pub. Finding the real trail, the pack found its way up to and across the High Street. Flour was used to mark the way, which went down to the Green, and a held check.

On-on across the Riverside, to another held check at the Ford Bridge. From there, along the River Ivel to Stotfold Mill, and another falsie along the river. Recently renovated, the Mill will be a great local attraction.

But the run wasn't over yet, and there was further to go. Another falsie went along another road past Saint Mary's School, but the pack pre-empted this and turned away so as to avoid it and instead ran through the Church and along a falsie there, before turning back and finding the real way ahead to the side of the Roecroft Centre, and along Church Road. At the top, there was a 'T' and it was mentioned by Underlay rightly that it should have been a bar. So there you are, but some of us are a bit too dim to see what is going down and some things are just above us.

Following the OI NNN, in the circle the hares were awarded down downs and again for a birthday and Scooper having done 50 runs at last. Swamp Donkey was christened as such, and Pooper became www (as Walnut Whip Willy is a bit of a mouthful). Smiffo was awarded the FRB chain. BoF and Stallion celebrated their wedding anniversary, and Dan Dare substituted for Alex, being 6. Oh and of course, Shagpile was awarded a down-down for having completed 350 runs.
