After high wind and showers the day before, Sunday dawns bright and clear. Having laid the trail earlier that morning, the hare waits for quite a while before anyone else arrives. It seems that a few hashers, disoriented from hangovers, have had trouble reading the map.

The circle is called, and shortly after the pack heads out to find the trail, most heading into the village of Bull's Green and finding a few falsies. MLP discovers the right trail alone - but it is a while before the rest of the pack catches up. A ladies check on the green in Datchworth and a few false trails allows the pack to regroup - and for late arrivals to catch up a bit.

As the pack heads across the playing fields we are caught up by the late G-String. The pack continues along a familiar stretch of path - only for the FRBs to be caught by a number check. From there, a short stretch of road to a sheep check - although the sheep have mysteriously turned into turkies in the few hours since the trail was laid!

After all that excitement, the trail starts to lead the pack back towards the horns - by way of gently rolling track and a little bit of shiggy. Before long the hash is enjoying a nice pint of beer - and in some cases a slice of hot chocolate fudge cake!

On-on.
