Friday Evening - A group of Hashers (including the 2 hares) meets to see Shrek 2. The film includes Hansel and Gretel, with their trail of bread crumbs; Shrek needs a large amount of flour, and they all finish with a party at the end. Shrek 2 is clearly a film about hashing...But that's beside the point!

Having decided to lay the run on the Saturday, we were pleasantly surprised to find the trail was largely intact - only a couple of bars had been washed away. An average sized group met at the Woodmans Arms, and after exhausting all the options the pack finally found the true trail up a footpath and across a field.

From there the trail lay across various fields - where the path was not totally obvious, and we met a friendly horse who required petting by everyone as they passed. From there the pack exhausted all the trail options before finding the true path lay up a track through the woods. White Rabbit had a dual with a brick and lost (hope you're feeling better!) and was kindly escorted back to the pub by Flo and Overflo. Everyone else made it to the check at the end of the path, with Shagpile and others taking an unusual route through the trees!
