A good turn out on a lovely spring Sunday morning. Circle up, usual routine of asking for newies, birthdays etc. The hares in the middle warn of any dangers to be aware of.

The pack ran straight out of the pub up the road to Southill missing the public footpath sign obscured by the shrubbery, instead running down a long farmer's track. A false trail is called to the FRBs (Pecker, Ringer and F K'A Duck) and surprise, surprise Florence is also a FRB closely followed by Paintball (probably admiring the view - he is a cheeky chap) down the footpath to a heldcheck. A regroup followed so we could cross the road. A false trail later saw the pack going through Stanford's play park onto a check. Anyway a few more falsies and then onto a beer stop. The beer was Paddy's falling down water which we all enjoyed by Stanford canal. After the beer stop I sent the fitter runners on a loop, well that's how it should have worked. Ringer and his merry men decided to run to Langford and back, which amused me as there was no dust laid on said path. Cardiac, me and the SCBs watched them disappear in the distance. I must admit a few chuckles were heard amongst us. I had no intention to follow them, so after discussing the problem with my co-hare (Cardiac) we opted to return to the pub, drinking the leftovers from the beer stop on the way.

Circle-up, the hares got beers which were well deserved I thought. The RA dished out beer to the Paddies amongst us (me, BOF and Skidmark) and a lot more than that I can't remember.

On-On to The Goat, Shaggy & Cardiac.
