During a period of unsettled weather TNMH3 were fortunate to have a pleasant evening. The trail had been laid the previous evening - the hare, having managed to double book himself had to break-off trail laying half-way round to go to the Engineers Arms who were being presented with the CAMRA Bedfordshire pub of the year award. This dictated the direction that the trail would go...

The route took us across the fields towards Clifton, where even the knitting circle were observed to run quite a bit. The original plan was for a beer stop at Shufflecock's house, but for various reasons this ended up happening at Boris' place in Henlow instead. From there it was across the fields and along the river back to Langford. On our return we discovered the Peckers - two of whom set out to do some of the trail after most of the pack had already returned. They did a brief loop and returned after half an hour or so for BBQ.

Thanks to Shufflecock and Boris for offering/providing a vanue for the beer stop, Twiszer and LBK for making salads and to everyone who turned up for the best attended run of the re-vitalised TNMH3.
